The sources of our data are from recognized statutory bodies such as;
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)'s
Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS)
DCHEQS (Dishonoured Cheque Information System) &
Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM)
Integrity is further assured as The Bureau has a direct 'system to system' link with BNM and SSM to protect the reliability of information by minimizing human intervention and human error.
In addition, The Bureau has a data integrity team whose function is to pro-actively monitor and validate data accuracy and periodic updates.
Dispute management processes are also in place to ensure prompt action is taken to rectify confirmed errors or inaccuracies, in the unlikely event it occurs.
Confidentiality refers to the strict guideline which governs the information access provided to members and its users.
All information disclosed in The Bureau's reports is treated with the strictest level of privacy and confidentiality.
The Bureau has also imposed extensive audit and monitoring processes to ensure access by members is for credit evaluation and other relevant purposes.
This prevents our information from being manipulated and used for unauthorized purposes.
