Kuala Lumpur, November 3, 2023 – Credit Bureau Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CBM) participated in the seminar “Governance for Growth: Rejecting Corruption for Better & More Sustainable Businesses,” held at the Asian International Arbitration Centre. This event, a collaborative effort by the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, and the Embassy of Sweden, aimed to embed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the business sector.
Industry leaders, including policy directors, corporate governance chairs, and CEOs, gathered to explore the essential role of governance in fostering a culture of integrity and responsibility in business. The seminar featured a compelling keynote address by Mr. Asfaazam Kasbani, Director of the National SDG Centre Malaysia, who spoke on integrating ESG values into corporate strategy.
Being a pioneer in credit reporting industry, CBM offered insights to how companies can be ESG compliant and CBM’s role to assisting them in exhibiting so.
