Kuala Lumpur, December 8, 2023 – Credit Bureau Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CBM) was invited to participate in the ‘Program Setahun Bersama Kerajaan Madani’ at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, also known as the “report card” event for the government.
This event, centered on publicizing the Malaysian government’s latest policies and initiatives, was designed to enhance public understanding of government strategies, build trust between citizens and the state, and promote collaborative efforts among government bodies, the private sector, and stakeholders. The ‘Program Setahun Bersama Kerajaan Madani’ served as a multifaceted platform where various government ministries and agencies showcased their achievements and future plans.
In line with the government’s initiative to Improve Financial Literacy, CBM was invited to educate the public about financial health, in particular what is a credit report and the importance of a credit score. Our dedicated team explained the intricacy of credit reporting data in an accessible manner, catering to the diverse needs of the individuals present. By doing so, the goal to make knowledge of credit reporting more approachable and understandable to the general public was achieved.
CBM noted that vast majority of public was enthusiastic to find out about the health and well-being of their financial performance. Tasked with the mission to help Improve Financial Inclusion and Promote Credit Positiveness, CBM is in the forefront of advocating financial literacy and credit reports.
